To Chew or Not to Chew

Bill the Pill

About 50 years old, very serious, set in his ways, logical in his thinking, when confronted with a decision to make, he is indecisive and procrastinates, slightly over weight with a sluggish manner, could be a computer programmer, no sense of humor, prefers functional things in life, cannot take a joke, follows rules and directions exactly, basically a boring person.

Bill the Pill’s ways are set. He wakes up and follows his routine without deviation, every day. Bill was invited to an office celebration at the boss’s house. Bill declined, he already had his day planned out. “I have to go home, to take care of my chores.” The next day, the office talk was all about how much fun everyone had. Some discovered new friends, some found romance and everyone was excited about the door prizes given out by their boss. Bill the pill, only found regret.

Charming Chewable

About 27, mature for her age, vibrant, bubbly creative person with a very positive attitude, could be an artist or chef, very animated, exciting, loves to explore, funny and loves to laugh, talkative and express her opinion with wisdom to back her words, gets the job done, but likes to have fun while doing it.

People wonder why Charming Chewable “CC” gets all the luck. They do not realize, CC does not rely on fate, or waits for things to happen. She makes things happen for herself. CC planned and organized a trip with former classmates from college. While on the trip, all of CC’s friends relied on her for planning their daily activities. CC did not mind, she loved making things happen and was happy to see others enjoy themselves. Fast forward two years later. CC is now happily married, and is an executive at a motion picture film studio. CC’s vibrant personality did not get un-noticed. She met her future husband on the trip with her friends. On that same trip, the CEO of a Fortune 500 company noticed her vitality and take charge attitude. She landed a position in his company.

  1. Great character descriptions, To!

Is either Bill the Pill or Charming Chewable more trustworthy than the other? Why or why not?

Do you think either chewable aspirin or tablet aspirin is more effective than the other when taking it as part of a regular heart-health routine? Why?

  2. Neither Bill the Pill or Charming Chewable is more or less trustworthy or honest than the other. It is a matter of the choices or decision they make during their lifetime. Where they are, at any point in their life, is a result of all the decisions they made, up to that point. I may however, question the wisdom or thought process, behind their decisions.

I think chewable aspirin and tablet aspirin are both equally effective, if they have the same ingredients. However, because you "chew" chewable aspirins, the aspirin is broken into smaller pieces, making it easier to digest and enter the bloodstream faster. It's advantage would be a faster reaction to the benefits of the aspirin.
