Bill the Pill

Bill the Pill’s ways are set. He wakes up and follows his routine without deviation, every day. Bill was invited to an office celebration at the boss’s house. Bill declined, he already had his day planned out. “I have to go home, to take care of my chores.” The next day, the office talk was all about how much fun everyone had. The "HEART" of my Health Regimen
I started taking low dose aspirins at age 50. As I got older, I became more serious about taking it every day. Now, if I miss taking it, I feel guilty. I actually become fearful that today may be the day my heart needed it. I may be paranoid, but if I feel anything physical, that resembles a symptom of a heart attack, I wonder if I forgot to take my aspirin. I always take a bottle with me if I am away from home, for more than a day.
I used to take Bayer low dose aspirin. I switched to the Costco Kirkland brand of aspirin about two years ago. I may be wrong, but aspirin is aspirin. How many different ways can they make aspirin? Kirkland is the most economical brand available. That is why I chose it as my preferred brand.
The 81 mg tablets of aspirin was the only one available when I purchased it. I remember when I was a child, my parents gave me orange flavored chewable St. Josephs aspirin. I loved it! That was the only pleasant part of having a fever. Nowdays, I buy what is most economical. If chewable aspirins had a beneficial health impact, and was compettitively priced with the tablets, I would switch to a chewable form.
When I fill my vitamin organizer, I include a low dose aspirin in each space. There is no way I can miss or forget to take it. The only time I skip taking it, is when my doctor or dentist instructs me to not take aspirin.
Groupings - What's in it for me?
CO-Q-10
Low dosage aspirin
Potassium
Garlic
L’Arginine
Hawthorn Berries
Multi-mineral
Fish Oil
Folic Acid
Medication for the Aches and Pains

I am here to share with you, the secrets to living a happy, healthy life. My name is To, that's pronounced like the number "2". I think my grandfather gave me that name. I am the youngest of seven siblings. My three oldest sisters were raised in China, and four of us were born and raised in New York City. My parents ran a small laundry in Woodside, Queens. The six of us lived in the back of the laundry, in a 400 square foot space, until I was eight years old. I cannot say enough about how proud I am, of my parents. Despite all the hardships they encountered, moving to a foreign land, struggling with a new language and no marketable skills, they never lost sight of family values. There was never a lack of love in that small back room, behind the laundry. I miss them very much.
This year, I hit the ripe young age of 60. I feel like life is just getting started. There is still so much I would like to accomplish for myself and for others. I know that if I work on being a better person and stay focused on my goals, tomorrow will be better than yesterday. My career in the film industry is just a passing thing. Working on bettering friendships and leaving a legacy for my family are things that will last forever. Most people see the serious side of me, but my friends have experienced the love, empathy and compassion I have for them. They also do not know when I am serious or playing a prank. I love to play practical jokes and make people laugh.
A few years back, my wife would have to kidnap me, for me to go for my annual physical. I realized, if I did not stay healthy, my wife would be a widow and my daughter would not have her dad, to one day, walk her down the aisle. I started to eat healthier, and sort of exercise. After my annual physical this year, my doctor said, do this, stop eating these things, eat this instead, and take these vitamins. I did what she recommended. I cut out the hamburgers, started eating more salmon and take my vitamins and baby aspirin every day. Since then, I've lost about ten pounds and feel so much better. I've only gone to In-and-Out two times in the last three months! Recently, an old friend and co-worker, working on location on a TV show, woke up, had chest pains and died. He was only 54. Sometimes, it takes a tragic event to make us change our ways. The message my friend left was, be good to people, take care of yourself and be right with God. I know I have to take my "health habits" to the next level.
There is no one thing, that makes up a healthy lifestyle. We have all heard that we must eat well, and exercise to stay healthy. The part that few talk about is maintaining a healthy attitude. How you look, up to age 30, depends on how well you take care of yourself. Over 30, your appearance is more of a reflection of who you are - your attitude, happiness and the love you share and receive. I found out that the "over 30" part is the easiest part to achieve, especially when I have my girls in my life, my wife of 28 years and my daughter. I love them so much.
